1. File and Folder Tree Structure#
1. Day: Reflection#
This is where I mainly save my thoughts and reflections, which are more abstract and philosophical. They are the crystallization of my thinking and serve as guidance for everything. There is no need for classification at the file structure level. The content here is closer to philosophy and belongs to the most fundamental level. It can be applied to every level without further classification.
2. Month: Information#
This is where various types of information are stored, divided into time-sensitive information, materials & literature, and attachments. Time-sensitive information and materials & literature are classified according to hobbies, work, and life. Attachments store all non-document materials for insertion and reference.
3. Pyramid#
a. Infrastructure#
The bottom layer of the pyramid. It is the ability to complete various projects and goals. It can be stored in the form of files or folders (to describe the inclusion and parallel relationship between infrastructure), and can be referenced and linked by projects.
b. Project#
The middle layer of the pyramid. It is actually an executable small goal that is accomplished by calling different infrastructures. It can be stored in the form of files or folders (to describe the inclusion and parallel relationship between projects). Based on the duration of the project, it can be roughly divided into long-term projects and short-term projects, without making distinctions at the folder level.
c. Goal#
The top layer of the pyramid. It belongs to more abstract and major goals, such as life goals. A goal can be composed of multiple projects, and a project can also belong to multiple goals. This is the full course of my life, and all my wishes are included in it. When I feel lost, I can refer to it.
4. Inspiration#
All flashes of inspiration and immature, unprocessed things can be placed in the Inspiration section. It is like an ingredient that has not been processed and will eventually be continuously processed into the system.
Update: 2023/8/6, because every time I open Obsidian, especially when opening the software on my phone, it is inconvenient and interrupts my inspiration and thinking. Therefore, I am considering moving the Inspiration section to the Feishu group chat, especially the topic mode of the Feishu group chat is particularly suitable for recording inspiration. So this section will be moved to Feishu, and the inspiration section will be organized together during the weekly project summary. At that time, the inspiration will be transferred from Feishu to Obsidian.
5. Information#
Collect all the information that I consider important, mainly divided into time-sensitive information and materials & literature. Time-sensitive information has a certain timeliness, while materials and literature are more long-term information that is not affected by timeliness.
2. Tag System#
1. Directed Tags#
Directed tags have a fixed format, mainly #goal, #project, and #infrastructure. They have strong directionality and resemble the tree structure of files and folders. They represent subordinate attributes and are used for precise analysis and search.
2. Descriptive and Associative Tags#
Descriptive and associative tags do not have a fixed format and can be diverse as long as they are relevant to the content. They are fuzzy tags that represent associations and are used for fuzzy search and the mutual connection of materials.
